Mitsubishi Electric came to CHEARI to communicate the WEEE legislation and implementation in China

　　On February 21, 2012, Mr. Tetsuya Takahashi from Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Environment Promoting Department, Mr. Taketoshi Hibi from Mitsubishi Electric (China) Co., Ltd. Environmental Protection Division, Chairman Net Kei Nakazato and Ms. Reiko Hayasaka from EnviX Co., Ltd., and Mr. Tong Chang visited CHEARI and communicate the topic of WEEE recycling development. Key personnel to participate in the conference included: Vice Chairman Fuzhong Liu from China Household Electrical Appliances Association, Director Hui Tian and Yilin He from Household Appliance Recycling Technology Center of CHEARI, Chief Zhihong Yao from Technology Management Center.

　　The talks focused on the implementationof the "waste electrical and electronic product recycling management regulations" in China and the forthcoming fund management approach for manufacturing enterprises. Director Tian introduced the legislation and implementation of the WEEE recycling in China, while Mr. Takahashi from Mitsubishi Electric introduced the latest recycling situation in Japan. The two sides conducted a lively discussion on the topic of concern.
